When I was a kid I loved to eat pickles. Specifically, those giant dill pickles that filled large glass jars on the counter of a gas station mart. And if my grandpa would buy me a dill pickle and a Slim Jim……….Wow, what a day!
The funny thing is, I’m no longer a fan of either one. My adult mind says, “Ewww, there’s so much sodium in a pickle. And what else it floating around in that germ-laden glass jar? A slim Jim? It’s not food! It’s grease and meat parts.” Oh, to be a worry less child again.
I do love the color Dill Pickle. Yes, it’s a real paint color and while working in my home office, I am surrounded by it.
Style Tip :: I not only went with green on my walls but my furnishings too. With the exception of my desk, leather chair and green side table, everything in my office is gently used and much of it, vintage. It’s easy, affordable and green to DIY furniture and accessories to make them match your style and personality. Also, offices shouldn’t be sterile spaces. Surround yourself with comfortable and inspirational details…..family photos, vision boards, quotes, books, flowers and soften your work space with curtains, pillows and cozy seating.

What a lovely, peaceful office!
Yes, very peaceful! No phone, great view, comfy chairs and all of my favorite things.
Beautiful room! The pillow with circles reminds me of a jacket that I have with green and brown print. Fantastic as always Paula.

Thanks Laura! I found the fabric thorugh a great on-line store, brocadehome.com ,and made the pillow cover. Actually, the lil’ green side table is from Brocade Home as well.
So cool!
Really do love that pillow (pillow love?? is that too weird??) I’m going to have to check out Brocade Home, looks like they would have great stuff.
