Style Tip :: Notice something odd about these pictures? Here’s a hint. The belt…or lack there of in some of the photos. Without the belt, the sweater gently hangs along my side waist. The focus is on the bright white beads and pop of hot pink just under my face. This is a great option for a thicker waist. With the addition of the belt, I’ve created an hourglass shape and dropped the focal point down. In order to create an hourglass, wear a belt at the smallest part of your torso. If your short-waisted wear a belt no more than 1-1 1/2 inches wide. Long waisted women can handle a 3-4 inch belt.
